  • Snow Geese print and hanger set back in stock .. My shop is closing tomorrow evening for the last time until it re-emerges in some new form when I’ve decided what that will best be. I’ve restocked the shop of all the prints and as many print and hanger sets as I could. I’ve appreciated having a tictail shop, and tho it’s a little sad that they are closing down their whole market place, moving into a new platform will give me a thorough rethink of my organisation, prices and how I run my shop too.   • Work in progress.. I’m so happy to get back to my desk and carve out time for some new work. I really like having multiple paintings on the go and when I mix a colour I can switch between them using the same colour. Moving in this way helps to take me out of my head and thinking too much, and that seems to keep the inner critic at bay. This is what I feel like is the awkward hair cut stage of my paintings- they are not quite right, they can make me inwardly cringe a little but I know that they are going to end up the way I want eventually. At this stage I’ll often paint things in and out until they feel right. Art making is so intuitive. I think that’s what I love about it, only I can know when a painting is finished.
